What we do

At our hatchery Maximus a/s we have our own selective broodstock from which we gather the naturally spawned eggs.

The eggs are hatched in our incubators after which the larvae are fed with livefeed until they are ready for our special formulated feed.

The fingerlings stay at the hatchery until they reach a size of 150-300 gram.

The fish are moved to our growout facility in Hanstholm. Here the yellowtail kingfish stay until they reach market size.

Our fish are harvested according to the Ikejime method which, secures the best animal welfare and maximizes the quality of the fish meat.
